Troy came out fast with a 10 run first highlighted by a Cove not Cove moon shot. Dizzy then settles down and only allows one more run over the next three innings. In the top of the 5th, sidearm Bobby Gibson comes in and is ineffective getting the ball down and thus allows a 4 run 5th inning. Palindrome finishes off St. Louis with a 1-2-3 5th.
Kasey's bats are cold from the start with only 2 runs the first 3 innings. He finally breaks through off Dizzy in the 4th with a 5 spot highlighted by a Superstars yoken. Letting down all Giants fans everywhere, Palindrome allows a touchdown in the bottom half of the inning. Unable to get the bats going in the 5th inning, Kasey waves off the team after 5 innings.
This leaves the best of 7 series favoring Troy 2-0. Troy leads the cumulative best of 7, 3 games to 2.
